Hi Wendy, thanks for getting in touch. I wouldn&#039;t be too scared. The Inca trail is a little more challenging than the Lares, and has many more steps which takes it&#039;s toll on the knees. I recommend sticking to the plan suggested in our article and you should be just fine. My main recommendation is to spend a few days in Cusco before the trek to ensure you are well acclimatised.]]></description>
